Q-SYS

Q-SYS is an audio DSP, signal distribution, and control network solution from the audio manufacturer QSC. It is a cloud-manageable audio, video, and control platform built around a modern, standards-based IT architecture. The Q-SYS OS serves as the software-based singular foundation that drives and manages a multitude of Q-SYS products within the platform, including native software, services, and hardware.

Q-SYS combines a native audio engine, video engine, and control engine inside the Q-SYS OS, eliminating additional hardware costs, programming fees, and points of failure caused by manually integrating disparate systems. It offers a scalable platform, including no-code options to manage native Q-SYS products and third-party hardware and software components.

The Q-SYS Control Engine has tools to match every programming comfort level within a single, scalable platform. End-users can easily engage with Q-SYS User Control Interfaces (UCIs) via native Q-SYS devices or from their own devices. Q-SYS Designer Software is the most powerful yet simple advanced DSP design software on the market today, enabling users to create designs for native Q-SYS Platform systems and supporting the integration of the greater Q-SYS Ecosystem.

Q-SYS products include the Core Nano, a compact, scalable, and powerful audio, video, and control processor; the QIO Series, a network audio I/O expander; and the NV Series, a video endpoint that enables visually lossless, low-latency distribution of digital video. The platform also offers 24/7 emergency support and a comprehensive knowledge base.

For those looking to learn more about Q-SYS, QSC offers various training programs, including the Q-SYS Level 1 Training, which provides a high-level overview of everything in a Q-SYS system, from the OS to native products, third-party partners, and open integration tools.
