Dramatic Book Cover: Angelo's Grief and a Sinister Shapeshifter

The cover should feature Angelo, the main character: tanned skin, medium-dark brown medium-long hair, brown eyes, male, injured and bloody. Beside him is his dead best friend Mark: male, fair skin, blue eyes, black slightly curly mullet, drenched as he drowned. The monstrous villain is a shapeshifter who took Mark’s form, with disturbing traces of him—patches of fair skin and hints of blue eyes—dripping shadowy and ominous. At the top is a single eye: dark jade green around the pupil, a yellow-orange ring, a small brown mole at the bottom right, bluish-green blending into jade green, circled by a navy-blue outer ring fading to light near the jade. The hand beneath is fair, but not too pale. On the right stands the survivor: male, dark brown skin, black eyes, blue-dyed dreadlocks, wet from nearly drowning. To the left of Angelo are two side characters, mythical human–frog hybrids; to the right, two more, similar but horrified.
