This is a Vietnamese style painting, specifically around the beginning of the 18th century, in which: The main character is a general - a typical face of a middle-aged Vietnamese, with a long beard, strong but gentle eyes, brown skin, straight nose, large nose tip showing a benevolent person, thick lips like a tropical person. The general wears the following costume: below is a blue silk shirt, above is a bronze armor, the right hand holds a very large and old ginseng root, the left hand holds it below, creating a gesture of offering it to the KING, The purpose of the gift is to wish the King longevity, and at the same time to report the victory in destroying the enemy on the battlefield. This is also a civil mandarin, so the left half of the person wears a cross-body shirt, specifically the left side of the person has a red silk shirt covering it. The whole painting shows national pride, love of country, and promotes the value of native ginseng.
