Un viernes noche cualquiera de noviembre, Jorge está tumbado en el sofá de su casa viendo un documental de delfines, está medio dormido, pero la entrada de su hija con un ataque de ansiedad hace que se despierte de golpe. Jorge es consciente de que su hija sufre maltrato físico y psicológico, por parte de su pareja, el miedo y el rechazo crean una barrera que prohíbe poder ayudarla. Darle la medicación a su hija se vuelve rutina, pero esa noche Jorge le enseña una tarjeta de una clínica de reposo. Cuando ella ya está al borde del abismo decide aceptar la ayuda de Jorge y acabar con ese maltrato.
