A real-life image of the Saqifa of Bani Sa'ida, a veranda covered with dry palm leaves and wood and a mat floor enclosed by simple brick and mud architecture in Medina, where on the day of the Prophet's death in 634 AD, more than 40 elders and male companions aged 50 to 70 sat together and chose the Prophet's successor.
