Chapter One - Buster's Problem “Wait!” yelled Buster. “I just want to play!” But the kids kept running. Buster chased them, his bus eye flailing on a long, skinny neck. They screamed in surprise. He had just moved to a new town, hoping to find friends, but being a Bus-Eyed Ape made it hard. One day, at the Elephant Pelephant Grocery Store, he excitedly reached for an apple but accidentally hit it with his eye, sending fruit flying. Mortified, he followed his mom out of the store, wishing to be normal. “Your eye is a gift,” she reassured him. Perhaps one day, he’d learn to embrace it.
