Em fevereiro de 1983, os terrenos continuavam a crescer e a tornar-se mais bonitos. Uma semana depois, pela primeira vez na história das duas aldeias, um dos terrenos pertencentes a uma família seria o local da construção do primeiro Hotel Rural das aldeias, que veio a ser conhecido como o Hotel Rural da Nossa Senhora do Ouro. A construção iniciou um ano mais tarde e, quando concluída, o hotel contava com 30 quartos. A inauguração teve lugar a 1 de janeiro de 1984.
