"Bayo, the Bus-Eyed boy" tells the story of Buster, an ape with a peculiar trait—an extra "bus eye" that pops out of the top of his head on a long neck. While it gives him incredible vision, it often causes chaos and embarrassment, making him feel different from others. Despite his mother's encouragement, Buster struggles to fit in after moving to a new town. At school, Buster faces teasing and bullying, especially from Bammy, a boy with a hammer head. However, he befriends Sophie, a girl with eleven arms, who helps him realize that his bus eye is a unique gift. With her help, he learns to control his eye. Buster becomes a hero when he uses his bus eye to find Swing Pearl’s lost ring, earning admiration from his classmates. He embraces his bus eye and no longer needs his special Whipple Whop Hat. By the end, Buster feels proud of his uniqueness and dreams of starting a detective agency like his grandfather.
