The story follows Hunter, a young woman who dreams of a fairy tale life like Cinderella but feels trapped in a toxic family environment. Her only escape is through her dreams, thanks to "special candy" given to her by her friend Alex. The dreams offer temporary solace, where Hunter can live in a fantasy world with her prince. However, the pain of her real life continues to build, and on her birthday, when her family cruelly ignores her, Hunter reaches her breaking point. In a moment of despair, she takes the entire bottle of candy, hoping for eternal bliss. Instead, the dream world turns into a nightmare, and she finds herself facing Death, realizing that her desire to escape has taken her too far.
