Rugged Charm: Portrait of Romanski

The cover features a compelling portrait of Romanski, the central figure, depicted as a rugged, nearly fifty-year-old man with auburn hair and brown eyes. He’s seated on a public bench, his expression contemplative and slightly weary, capturing the essence of his life's resilience. His attire is slightly disheveled, signifying his homelessness, and he is holding a cigarette and a beer can, symbols of his daily struggles and brief escapes. The background shows a blend of the historic and modern elements of Copenhagen’s urban landscape, with a focus on Nørreport station and the busy city streets, bustling with people. The color palette combines muted grays and subtle city colors, reflecting the somber themes of the book while also highlighting moments of warmth and vibrancy.
