Charming Narrow Cafe Design: Nature Meets Elegance

I am designing a cafe on a narrow 100m x 7m site with old plane trees on the eastern and western sides that I want to preserve. The space is small, and I plan to integrate these trees inside the structure. I also want a basement level with a glass ceiling to create a shop for handmade art. The roof should be retractable in a way that when it closes, it encloses the tree trunks, and when open, it reveals the sky and trees. I need advice on preserving the tree roots during construction and handling environmental factors like bird droppings.”
