A dark, fog-shrouded Yuan-Ti temple glows faintly with eerie green light. At its center, a pulsating green artifact rests on a crumbling altar, casting ominous shadows. Surrounding it are five adventurers: a sleek owl-like humanoid with glowing eyes, a towering Dragonborn with scales glinting in the artifact's light, an obese lizardfolk gripping a massive club, a radiant aasimar with faintly glowing wings, and a rugged human wielding a glowing sword. The ground is littered with the bodies of serpentine creatures, their twisted forms lifeless in the mist. The air hums with tension, the artifact's power palpable as the group faces a dire choice.
