a dark black cover with a dark sword that's a cross between a falchion and a machete, the blade has five runes etched onto it that are obsidian coloured. There is a wing that is extended on one side, out to the upper edges and close to the others. That wing is a flat matte black. On the other side, there's a wing extended in the same manner, but it's like a bat or dragon wing, mostly black, but it fades to a dark violet. The title of the book ,Obsidian Blade, is at the top, and the authors name, Katarina Nyght, is much smaller at the bottom.
