Creat cute illustration for kiddies book1 There once was a chubby kitty with nobody’s name No bowl, no blanket, no fun little game She lived in a box with a tear in the side No one to hug, no place to hide She curled in a corner, her whiskers all wet Shivering, quivering, tired and upset But wait, what was that? A wiggle, a paw A stripy young kitten without a flaw He purred like a motor, he blinked like the sun She licked his nose, her heart had begun A bold little tabby with paws full of joy She puffed out her chest: “I’ll call you Big Boy” From the shadows appeared a sleek little jet With eyes like the moon and a velvet-black set She slinked and she slid, then snuggled in tight As soft as a shadow, as still as the night “Bagheera,” she whispered, “you’re quiet and clever” Now there were three, and the nights felt much better 4 Tumble and tumble, in bounced a blur With caramel cream in a swizzle of fur He rolled and he wriggled, he flopped on his back He jiggled his belly, all spotty and slack “Mr. Cuddles!” she cried as he purred like a song Now they were four, and the days felt less long 5 Then came a squeak from a pile of dry leaves With toes like piano keys, whiskers like sheaves A tuxedo of black, with a chest snowy white She danced like a feather, all tiny and light “Pheki Pheki,” she chirped with delight Now there were five, but still no home in sight. 6 Along came a girl, Rosy, warm as a hug She spotted the box and gave it a tug “Oh my,” she gasped, “You poor little crew” She scooped them up quick “yes, I’ll take all of them too!” She gave them a sofa, some biscuits and some milk She gave them a home with a bed soft as silk 7 There in the hallway came one extra sound A gentleman grey with a voice strong and proud He watched from the corner, he blinked once or twice Then purred polite and approving advice Kovu, so kind and gentle without fail Made room in his home for each whisker and tail. 8 Through the wide doorway came paws with a spring White as a snowball and wagging with zing It was Belle Belle, the Jack Russell, so bright She zoomed round in circles, a blur of pure light The kittens all stared but then joined the fun Eight in the gang — and the joy had begun ⸻ 9 Clip-clop on the stones, a long yellow snout A horse named Dakota was sniffing about He neighed with a grin, and he gave them a wink Then nudged the door open with a curious clink He stayed for some carrots, then stay for some hay Now that makes nine in the family today. 10 Came a flutter of brown and a cluck on the stairs A chicken named Lucy Loo fluffed up her hairs She followed the kittens with wide curious eyes She didn’t say meow but she brought a surprise She fit in just fine with her feathers so neat Ten in the family, all snug and sweet The End No more cold nights, no more box on the street Now life was warm, and full, and sweet Ten little creatures, some big and some small But each one was loved, yes, loved most of all
