Arrival at the Threshold

With this new information, Milo and Tock set off. After a short walk, they reached a desolate spot. "There's nothing here," Milo said, confused. "Maybe Technopolis isn't real," Tock suggested. Suddenly, a massive tower emerged from the ground, knocking them both over. "Woah! What was that?" Milo exclaimed. As they entered the tower, they saw it was in ruins, filled with broken, unreleased phones. A robot-like figure, appeared on the stairwell. "Who are you? Why have you come to this wretched place?" demanded a mysterious figure. "Wretched? Why do you call your own place that?" Tock asked. "Technopolis was once a happy place. We gave humans advanced tech until our ruler ran out of battery. Now, we live in ruins," the figure explained.
